How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 3-6 months in advance, especially for peak season (June-September). However, we occasionally have last-minute availability, so feel free to contact us even if your dates are approaching.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival receive a full refund minus a small processing fee. Cancellations made 30-60 days before arrival receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable, though we may offer credit toward a future stay.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Yes, we have a 7-night minimum stay during peak season (June-September) and a 3-night minimum during off-season. During holidays and special events, longer minimums may apply.

We welcome well-behaved pets with prior approval. A small additional cleaning fee applies. Please inform us during booking if you plan to bring pets.

How many guests can the villa accommodate?

The entire Villa of Golden Light can accommodate up to 20 guests across multiple apartments and suites. Individual rentals range from 2-8 guests depending on the specific accommodation.

Is the pool heated?

Our 20-meter infinity pool is unheated and typically open from May through October, depending on weather conditions. The water is naturally refreshing during the warm Tuscan summers.

Yes, high-speed WiFi is available throughout all accommodations and outdoor areas. We understand the need to stay connected, even on vacation.

Are the kitchens fully equipped?

Absolutely! All our kitchens are professionally equipped with modern appliances, cookware, and everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. We can also arrange for pre-stocking with groceries upon request.

How do I get to the villa from the airport?

The nearest airports are Florence (1 hour) and Pisa (1.5 hours). We recommend renting a car for maximum flexibility. We can also arrange private transfers upon request for an additional fee.

While not absolutely required, a car is highly recommended to fully explore Tuscany and visit nearby towns, wineries, and attractions. The villa has ample private parking.

The villa is located in Lucignano, a charming medieval village. Within 30 minutes, you can reach Cortona, Montepulciano, and Pienza. Siena and Arezzo are about 45 minutes away.

Lucignano has several excellent restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. Larger supermarkets and additional dining options are available in nearby towns.

Mid-stay cleaning and linen change is included for stays of 7+ nights. Daily housekeeping can be arranged for an additional fee. Final cleaning is included in all rates.
